Frequently
Asked Questions.
Everything you need to know about Invisalign treatment.
Am I a candidate for Invisalign?
Invisalign treats a wide range of orthodontic issues including crowded teeth, gaps, overbites, underbites, and crossbites. A consultation at our clinic will confirm whether Invisalign is the right fit for your case. Most teens and adults qualify.
How long does Invisalign treatment take?
Treatment time varies by case complexity. Mild cases can be completed in as few as 6 months, while more complex alignment issues may take up to 18 months. Dr. Pisanu or Dr. Kooner will give you an accurate timeline during your consultation.
How much does Invisalign cost in Vancouver?
Invisalign pricing depends on the scope of treatment. We offer flexible payment plans and direct insurance billing to make treatment accessible. Many extended health plans cover a portion of orthodontic care. We'll confirm your coverage before you commit.
How often do I need to wear my aligners?
Aligners should be worn 20–22 hours per day for the best results. Remove them only for eating, drinking anything other than water, and brushing your teeth. Consistency is the most important factor in staying on schedule.
Does Invisalign hurt?
Mild pressure or discomfort for the first day or two after switching to a new set of aligners is normal. This is a sign the aligners are working. Most patients describe the feeling as pressure rather than pain, and it fades within a couple of days.
What happens after Invisalign treatment?
After completing your aligner series, you'll be fitted for a custom retainer to maintain your results. We recommend wearing your retainer nightly. Annual check-ins ensure your smile stays perfectly aligned for years to come.
