Frequently
Asked Questions.
Everything you need to know before your visit.
What general dental services do you offer?
Our general dentistry services include routine checkups, professional cleanings, tooth-coloured fillings, gum disease treatment, tooth extractions, and children's dental care. We're a full-service family dental clinic in Marpole, Vancouver.
How often should I visit the dentist?
We recommend a checkup and professional cleaning every six months for most adults and children. Patients with a history of gum disease, frequent cavities, or certain medical conditions may benefit from more frequent visits — typically every three to four months.
Do you treat children?
Yes — we provide age-appropriate dental care for children from their first tooth. Our team creates a positive, welcoming environment that builds healthy dental habits from an early age. We recommend children's first visit by age one or when their first tooth appears.
Do you bill insurance directly?
Yes. We directly bill all major Canadian dental insurance providers, as well as the CDCP. Our team confirms your coverage before your appointment so there are no surprises.
What happens if I need a filling?
If a cavity is detected, we'll discuss the size, location, and recommended filling material with you before proceeding. Tooth-coloured composite resin is our standard for visible teeth. The procedure is completed under local anaesthetic and typically takes 30–60 minutes.
Can you treat gum disease?
Yes — our hygienists are experienced in treating all stages of gum disease. Early gingivitis often resolves with professional cleaning and improved home care. Advanced periodontitis may require scaling and root planing, a deeper cleaning procedure performed under local anaesthetic.
