Your Implant in
4 Simple Steps.
From your first consultation to your final crown, we keep you informed and comfortable at every stage of implant treatment.
Consultation & Planning
We assess bone density and oral health with 3D imaging to confirm you're a good candidate and map out the exact implant position.
Implant Surgery
The titanium implant post is placed into the jawbone under local anaesthetic in a precise, minimally invasive procedure.
Healing Period
Over the following months, the implant fuses with your jawbone (osseointegration), creating a foundation as stable as a natural root.
Crown Attachment
Once healed, a custom crown is attached to the implant, completing a replacement tooth that looks and functions like your own.

Frequently
Asked Questions.
Everything you need to know about dental implants.
What is a dental implant?
A dental implant is a titanium post surgically placed into the jawbone to replace a missing tooth root. Once it fuses with the bone, a custom crown is attached on top — creating a permanent, fully functional replacement tooth that looks and feels natural.
Am I a candidate for dental implants?
Most healthy adults with sufficient jawbone density are good candidates. We assess bone density and overall oral health with 3D imaging during your consultation. Patients with significant bone loss or complex medical histories may need bone grafting or a referral to a specialist before treatment.
How long does the implant process take?
The full process typically spans a few months. Implant placement is followed by an osseointegration period — usually 3 to 6 months — during which the implant fuses with your jawbone, followed by placement of your custom crown.
Are dental implants painful?
The placement procedure is performed under local anaesthetic, so you shouldn't feel pain during surgery. Mild swelling or soreness for a few days afterward is normal and manageable with over-the-counter pain relief and our aftercare guidance.
How long do dental implants last?
With good oral hygiene and regular checkups, the implant post itself can last a lifetime. The crown on top typically lasts 10 to 15 years or longer before it may need replacement due to normal wear.
Do you place implants at your clinic?
Dr. Pisanu and Dr. Kooner assess candidacy and coordinate your entire implant journey. For complex cases involving significant bone loss or medical complications, we refer to a trusted specialist and continue to manage your restorative crown and long-term care.
