What Is the Canadian
Dental Care Plan?
The CDCP is a federal government program that provides dental coverage to eligible Canadians who do not have access to private dental insurance. It is administered by Sun Life Financial on behalf of Health Canada.
Coverage ranges from routine cleanings and fillings to root canals, dentures, and extractions — based on your income level and the specific procedures needed.
